Trusting in God's Plan
Verse of the Day: “For we know
that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according
to his purpose” -Romans 8:28
I am a very controlling person and
anyone who knows me well can atess to that statement. I like to have things
done a certain way, my way, and I can get very OCD. Trust me everyone hates me
when I get like that. At school I take over group projects and start to order
people around, It’s really quite horrible! The thing about life though is that
you cant micromanage everything like you can in a group project at school.
Things don’t always go the way you plan and when they don’t you can’t go crazy
every single time. That has been a slow lesson for me to learn. I still have to
stop and take a REALLY BIG BREATH when my plans don’t work out.
This is why I think I had a really
hard time and It took me a while to say “Jesus I trust in you, I give you my
life and heart” I was so scared to let someone else handle my life. But I will
tell you something, after handing my life over to Jesus It was like a big
weight was lifted off my shoulders, because I no longer had to worry constantly.
I know that my future rests in a God who knows my heart.
Challenge of the Day: Stop trying
to take control of your life, let go and let God in your life.
